A “View” is a set of Filters applied to the Documents tab that result in certain documents being shown in the list. Save a “View” you reference often to prevent from selecting each individual Filter each time you need to see certain documents.
To learn how to first apply a filter to the documents, see this help article.
“Views” are commonly used by different functional areas of a business. Typically, a fleet might have a Billing view used by one Admin or Manager, and another for managers of different Divisions or groups of drivers.
Follow the steps below to save a default View.
1. First, navigate to the Documents tab in the Web Portal.
2. Click the Filter button and apply all the filters you’d like to be saved in your View.
To learn how to first apply a filter to the documents, see this help article.
3. Once all relevant filters are applied, it’s time to save this as our “View”. To do so, click the downward-facing arrow to the right of the Documents label in the top left of the page.
4. In the dropdown that appears, select “Save As”.
5. Name your new View in the box that appears. Make sure it accurately describes what the view is used for. It will be accessible and saved across the entire fleet.
6. Click SAVE once complete.
7. To access your view at any time, click the drop-down and select the newly named View.
8. To save the view as a default, bookmark the link once selected in your browser. Click that bookmark whenever you need to access that View.
