How to Troubleshoot a Low Quality Image

Are you having a hard time getting a good photo of a document?

Here are the most common mistakes that make it hard to take a good photo. 

Having a shadow on the document

Problem: Shadows keep the orange box from locating the edges of the page

Solution: Make sure the lighting is directly over the page with no shadows on your paper

Not getting all of the edges of the page in the orange box

Problem: The app cannot find the edges if they are not all inside the white framed box

Solution: Move the camera back until all 4 edges of the pages are well within the orange box

When you have multiple pages on top of each other

Problem: The app cannot detect which edge goes with the page you are trying to get a photo

Solution: Take a photo of one page at a time with a dark contrasting background.
