Vector needs your precise location to ensure you’re in the facility. Here are steps on how you can enable your precise location from your mobile app.
If the precise location is disabled on your device, you will see “PROCEED TO THE FACILITY” button is disabled.
Here’s how you can enable precise location on both iPhone and Android devices.
iPhone Steps:
1. Go to Settings.
2. Go to “Privacy & Security”.
3. Go to “Location Services”.
4. Scroll down and click on whichever browser you are using with Vector.
5. Click “While Using the App” and toggle “Precise Location” on (green)
NOTE: Vector does not track you. Enabling precise location only allows us to verify that you are actually within the geo-fence of the facility when checking in.
6. Refresh your Vector browser. You should now be able to click “I HAVE ARRIVED”.
Android Steps
1. Click on the three dots to the right of your browser.
2. Scroll down and click “Settings”.
3. Scroll down and click “Site Settings”.
4. Click “Location”.
5. Under Blocked websites, scroll down to “withvector.com”.
6. Click “Allow” for “withvector.com”.
NOTE: Vector does not track you. Enabling precise location only allows us to verify that you are actually within the geo-fence of the facility when checking in.
7. Refresh your Vector browser. You should now be able to click “I HAVE ARRIVED”.
